To get to the Isle of Bute you can drive to Glasgow then take the ferry to Rothesay. Look up times on Calmac. Flights into Glasgow, then a train to the ferry terminal or rent a car. It's very easy to get to.

There are many useful websites about the Isle of Bute including www.isle-of-bute.org.uk which can lead you through much information about the island and the many things that are on offer. From Cinema to Stately Homes, Victorian Gardens, Organic Foods, Ancient Burial Grounds, Fishing, Sailing, Walking and Exploring.

You can be as busy or as quiet as you choose!

For me, it is the most wonderful and inspiring place to be. I come back from the Island refreshed and relaxed every time.
